Today's Choice for Tomorrow's Future

Drama

The Gray Middle School Performing Arts Club is the general organization that is in charge of managing the smaller organizations within as well as the Productions. Drama Club is an after school activity and thus being enrolled in class does not automatically make you a member--but will hopefully spark your interest! ALSO: You do not have to be involved in classes or any other sub-section of the club to be involved in the Drama Club. Drama Club is NOT just for performers, it is for technicians, designers, crew members, choreographers, directors, stage managers, PR, and everything in between.

We perform two after school productions per year. Some previous shows have been: 30 Reasons NOT to Be in a Play, Once Upon a Mattress, Dork Diaries, The Little Mermaid, How to Kiss a Girl, Bring it On, The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon, Camp Rock, Elf the Musical, Legally Blonde, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Emma! A Pop Musical, and The Addams Family.

Serious students are also invited to represent our school by competing at the Jr. Thespian Competition. We attend Districts every December and State Competition every February. We are proud to have had several Best in Shows and Honorable Mentions at the District and State levels, as well as Critics Choices to have represented our District at Opening Ceremonies at State Thespian Competition.

The thing we are most proud of here at Gray Drama, is the incredible family we have formed through the years. Many students stay involved throughout their 3 years of Middle School, and form amazing bonds with their fellow Thespians. We work hard, play hard, and have an absolute blast! We are ALWAYS happy to welcome new members to the club and the productions. It is NEVER too late to fall in love with theatre! Any further questions?
