STEM Club
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Gray Middle School’s STEM club uses team work and critical thinking skills to solve real world mathematical and science problems as well as perform engineering design challenges. STEM club is a great way for students to explore science and engineering by performing hands-on labs and activities. Our STEM club works to spread the enjoyment of science to our school.
Our STEM Team competes each year in the Lake County STEAM Bowl. During this exciting event, students demonstrate their expertise by solving higher order thinking questions and engaging in an engineering design challenge.
STEM club meets twice a month (generally Tuesday or Thursday) after school in the fall and before school in the spring. Extra meetings are scheduled as we approach the STEM Bowl.
If you have a passion for science, technology, engineering, art, and math, join the STEM club! Please see Mrs. Volpe for an application.
