Today's Choice for Tomorrow's Future

Student Council

Gray Middle School’s Student Council is an organization that focuses on responsibility, civic duty, taking pride in one’s school, and planning for the future. Members are required to maintain a 3.0 GPA. If they are struggling in a subject, Student Council will offer help. Student Council members are held to a high behavior standard. They carry themselves as an example for other students to follow.

GMS Student Council meets once a month on the third Thursday of the month at 8:45 in the morning. At these meetings we discuss upcoming events and fundraisers. We also discuss issues in the school and ways that we can have a positive effect. We use our successful fundraising to donate to other clubs, and to purchase items for Gray Middle School and the teachers. Student Council officers meet with administration to discuss important school issues and initiatives. We organize the Staff versus Students annual volleyball and the GMS Annual Talent Show.

Gray Middle School’s Student Council encourages leadership through service to our students, our school, and the community.
