Interested in a STEM Career? There are 32 DAYS LEFT to apply for Lake-Sumter State College’s Health Science Collegiate Academy. This program is open to all current 8th grade students who will be attending East Ridge High School, Lake Minneola High School, South Lake High School, or Pinecrest Lakes High School. FAST Testing for Progress Monitoring 1 is here! Monday, September 9th, our 3rd thru 5th graders will take FAST ELA and they will take FAST Math on Monday , September 16th. Tuesday, September 10th, our Middle School students will take FAST ELA and they will take FAST Math on Tuesday, September 17th. Please help your students come prepared for testing by making sure they get a good night's sleep and that the middle school students charge their Chromebooks the night before each test and bring their chargers and Chromebooks on testing days.

The Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday continues through Sunday, August 11. It is designed to help Florida families save money on essential items students need for the upcoming year. It includes items such as Up to $1,500 for personal computers, tablets electronic book readers, headphones and related accessories; school supplies selling for $50 or less, such as binders, notebooks, folders, markers and pencils; backpacks, clothing and footwear up to $100; and learning aids and related resources such as flashcards, interactive books and matching games selling for $30 or less.
